The quality U.S. steel used in the 28MM Training Bar meets a minimum tensile strength of 190,000 PSI, and each shaft is individually tested for straightness to within 0.015″ (0.38MM). The bar is available in a wide range of optional finishes, including several new custom Cerakote colorways. This unique polymer-ceramic composite coating was first popularized in the gun industry for its durability in thin applications, and offers superior corrosion resistance over the life of your bar.

Made in Columbus, Ohio, USA, the 28MM Training Bar is built to IWF specifications and Rogue’s own high standard, with a shaft tensile strength of 190,000 PSI. Each bar is machined and assembled from quality U.S. steel and individually tested for straightness to within 0.015″ (0.38MM). The shaft is ground and polished prior to machining for a smooth finish, and the knurling is carefully refined for a firm but non-abrasive grip. The use of reliable bronze bushings help produce a consistent “whip” needed for Oly training.

This bar is now available in several custom Cerakote color finishes. Cerakote is an advanced ceramic-based coating, originally established in the gun industry for its remarkable durability in thin applications. This unique finish can deliver superb abrasion/wear/corrosion resistance over time, and it’s available here in black, red, and blue, with the Rogue logo across the center of the shaft (all sleeves have a black Cerakote finish).
